Thursday was the last day of Second and Fourth grade for granddaughters numbers 3 & 4, so our tradition has been to have tea for lunch. We love Paris In A cup and come home full from 3 tea sandwiches, a teacup of Potato soup and 2 scones, plus the girls get to have the cute Mouse gelato dessert.
We then have a quick spin through one of the stores before the girls start to get antsy. Actually they are really fun to shop with and help me find items they know I will like. We found a typewriter and a silver tray for me. I hope to make a chalkboard with the silver tray and will post a picture when I have it done.
Traditions are a wonderful way to celebrate passages with your family and I am fortunate to be included.
This is my opportunity to journal my thoughts and to keep track of the many happenings of my family life as time goes by. A chance also to share the creative urges that come and go with pictures. So in the end my children can see , she came, she created and she loved many-- and many things.

Mother's Day
A lovely afternoon and evening celebrating Mother's Day on a Duffy, cruising to dinner. Captain Linden at the helm Not shown is Rylen, Nana and Gramps Schmid, Tutu Bradshaw. The weather was perfect and dinner delish at the Cannery. They have a guy who docks your boat for you while you have dinner.
While cruising the bay we enjoy snacks and libations while listening to good music, enjoying the beautiful homes and the setting sun. If you're in the area be sure and try the Duffy Boat rentals, but bring a sweater for the cooler evenings.
Grandparents Day at school
LeLe and Rylen at Grandparents day. Here's Le Le with her Nana. Harbor Day puts on
the most wonderful programs. No pictures of Grandpa and Tutu, as I was taking the pictures.
