my thought for this month...

"Never regret love, no matter how blind, it improved your world view.
No matter how foolish, it made you wiser. And no matter how generous, it made you more".

We have had two birthdays this month, for granddaughters number 2 and 4. I'm unable to post pictures as my camera went on a Honeymoon. I will report that both girls had wonderful celebrations, both lasted more than one day. They are all growing so quickly, each a delightful,
and unique girl. I'm so happy to have 5, yes 5 granddaughters. We are all looking forward to a baby or two in the not too,too distant future..........ahem, remember the previous post--------
so someday there may be another girl to play with or maybe even a boy....

I should also mention that granddaughter # 3 does not like being a number and wishes to be something else, like maybe a flower....problem is Tutu's memory...I would have to write down who was who to always remember.
My oldest daughter has numbers 1, 2, and 5, she calls them Beauty, Harmony and Order on her blog. (http://beautyharmonyandorder.wordpress.com/) Whatever I call them, they are smart, funny, beautiful and loved to the moon and back!

P.S. check out number 3's blog ~ http://horsesdogslife.blogspot.com/

How I spent my day. Taking pictures, uploading them, writing descriptions. CAnnot believe how much time goes by when working on the computer.

Why oh why is the computer so hard to learn. I have spend most of today setting up an Etsy
shop and learning how to post pictures and write captions. And have been somewhat successful, so then wished to make a Banner.....oh boy...my grandma brain does not want to co-operate. So, until a later time, I will remain Bannerless.
These are just a couple of items I hope to post in my "smithgirls" shop. I have many more and a head full of ideas too.

Many, many things have happened, many occasions have come and gone since I wrote in my blog a year ago. For me the biggest just happened 2 weeks ago. I know you can guess from the picture.... four of my five beautiful granddaughters waiting. Hair lovely, dresses pressed, bows tied, new ballet shoes and bouquets ready. And who's wedding are they participating in you ask.......the last child, the baby. Seems strange to call him "the baby", don't know that he would appreciate it, but since this is my blog and he will probably never see it....I'm saying it!!

So here they are. ... yes he is the baby---I know, he stands at 6'5", but will always be the baby of our family. It was a really beautiful wedding. And now I have another daughter--that makes 3..lucky lady that I am.

She teaches high school and the girls choir sang at the wedding and played violins and hand bells~~ they sounded like angels.
They come back from a 2 week honeymoon tomorrow and begin a new chapter in both of their lives. I guess in our lives too.
So now we are 13 around the table on Sunday night family dinner. What bliss!!
